Orders have been placed for what I hope are all the components needed to build Block 1. Additionally, Pharmasonic made available the 707 Amp/Env. Follower/Integrator unit, which then prompted another round of ordering.
Looking through the Build Docs for these units, several require an Oscilloscope to calibrate. I’ll need to either throw down for one or figure out a software solution to do this.
Bits and pieces have been coming in, which allowed me to complete the 716 and 709, other than the power jacks, which are due to arrive today.
I have added an Erica Pico Output module, and am now thinking I need to get a similarly-featured input module as well for the test rack.
So far, all that the rack does is blink the 4 LED’s on the MIDI unit when powered on, but it will be doing more soon. At least the S&H has its switch in place and a properly sized knob! Progress!
And finally, here is an updated Block 1 diagram with the 707 squeezed into the bottom row.
